Yes! We begin playing guest arrival (prelude) music approximately 30 minutes before your ceremony begins. This helps create the perfect atmosphere as your guests arrive, find their seats, and get settled before the ceremony starts

Yes. We can provide music for cocktail hour and transition seamlessly into your reception.

We provide an online planning portal that helps you organize the important formalities, music selections and timing for your wedding.

We also review your timeline prior to the wedding and communicate with your other vendors as needed to help the entertainment-related portions of your reception flow smoothly.

No. While our DJs work closely with your venue, planner, photographer, videographer and other vendors, DJ Jimmy T Entertainment is an entertainment company—not a substitute for a professional wedding planner or day-of coordinator.

We believe communication is an important part of creating a successful event, so you'll have multiple opportunities to meet with your DJ throughout the planning process.

You'll have an initial meeting with your DJ after booking to get acquainted, discuss your vision, and go over the overall feel you're looking for.

We also offer an optional mid-way meeting, typically scheduled about halfway between your booking date and your event. This is a great opportunity to check in, discuss any updates, and ask questions as your plans come together.

Finally, you'll have a final planning meeting approximately 30 days to two weeks before your event. During this meeting, we'll review your finalized timeline, introductions, special dances, music preferences, announcements, and all the important details your DJ needs to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Wedding rehearsals are generally not included in our standard DJ services.

Our ceremony planning process is designed to provide the DJ with the information needed for ceremony audio and music without requiring attendance at the rehearsal.

Yes. Communication between your DJ, venue, planner, photographer and other vendors can make a huge difference in how smoothly a reception runs.
